COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Pacem Havens Foundation carries out community dialogues where it engages different individuals (ex-prisoners, youth, women, etc) to share knowledge on the topics that are in line with its programs of Transformation, reintegration, and prevention. PHF with the help good will ambassadors visits schools, institutions, and villages within Uganda where it uses plays, debates, and talks to deter the youth from engaging in criminal activities. Ex-offenders under the PHF’s umbrella also share their experiences with the students and community and engage in monitored Q&A with the students as a tool to influence students to make better choices. Our community dialogues involve sharing knowledge on the issues that push society to commit crimes and address them through talks awareness and offering solutions to the community. We aim to fight against discrimination of ex-offenders or people because of their conviction history or arrest, deter youth delinquency, and fight crime.
